Valentino Rossi wins Laureus Award


New Ducati rider Valentino Rossi was awarded the Laureus Award category 'Comeback of the Year', Monday, February 7, 2011. Located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Rossi managed to beat five other athletes from various branches.

As reported by the official website of the MotoGP, Rossi won the most votes of 46 members of the Laureus Academy, which is filled by the legendary athlete. The Doctor-nickname-beat Rossi U.S. golfer Paula Creamer, sprinter Tyson Gay, Belgian tennis player Justine Henin, Swedish athletes Carolina Kluft athletics, and Jamaican sprinter Merlene Ottey.

Lorenzo Yamaha Shock Test Results


Defending champion Jorge Lorenzo started the pre season 2011 with satisfactory results in the test session which took place at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Lorenzo recorded the second fastest time with 2 minutes 01.997 seconds.

Lorenzo only lost to Repsol Honda rider Casey Stoner, who was sitting in first place with a time of 2 minutes 01.574 seconds. This result was unexpected by Yamaha for Lorenzo's team manager who represented Wilco Zeelenberg.

Jorge Lorenzo can proudly claim to use the numbers 1 to race MotoGP race of 2011.

Australia Threatened Absence MotoGP title

Casey Stoner's Ducati team no longer defend the 2011 season

Casey Stoner's Ducati team no longer defend the 2011 season. His name is now entered in the Honda Racing team, with Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.

Two new tandem Stoner is not easy opponents on the track. Pedrosa is one of the candidates in the 2010 season champion. If only he had not had an accident at the end of the season, it is not impossible Jorge Lorenzo would have difficulty reaching the world title.

V. Rossi Starting Physical Exercise



Valentino Rossi claimed his rehabilitation process after having shoulder surgery went well. The Doctor is now starting to do physically removed after stitching operations.

Rossi had surgery in early November 2010 to overcome a shoulder injury that bothered him throughout the 2010 season in MotoGP. Injury was obtained when Rossi rode motokros in April 2010.

This Spaniard won the MotoGP series to the 9th of this year. Lorenzo also complement the incision 345 MotoGP victory at the event.

Nothing wrong with the later Rossi responded last two series with different emotions.
