Having delayed two times, Rafael Nadal eventually clinched his 2010 U.S. Open after defeating Novak Djokovic. Match at Flushing Meadows, Nadal won 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-2, Monday, September 13, 2010 (Tuesday morning GMT).

Nadal became the first title at the U.S. Open. Making it the youngest tennis player, 24 years old, in history who could collect the four Grand Slam titles.
